Finding Momentum

In what way can you achieve the ‘Four S’ of Pilates:  Stability, Stamina, Stretch and Strength?

Life always has something for you to do! There will always be those obligations that make you who you are, but that also keep you from what you need. Often in our fast pace living, it is work that makes us proud, satisfied and fulfilled. We think about it all the time, our colleagues are often our friends; we go to events that are work parties and we talk the politics of our department or office. Don’t think, I am not including you stay home mothers or fathers, who surround your life’s work of your children, a life which takes more than 24 hours in a day. The point, I am trying to make, is that we need to be needed in this life and we busy (overwhelming) ourselves with all the these things. How can you dare add one more thing in your life, such as taking on that extra workout and mat class that you have been wanting….needing?
Do not add that class and session if your mind tells you it is burden or a thing to do, but add that class because you can mentally and physically find a new beginning each day when you live those busy parts of your life. Add that Pilates session because it let’s you see
in this life that I am and becoming with each breathe flowing
through my body. I see, feel, and have become the person that
knows the morning glory of dawn which greets us each day. I know
that today I am, have become and can achieve the caring of myself. I must prescribe for myself the healing and renewal found in movement. I will find strength in the tension of working upon my soul and muscles. I will find endurance by prolonging the stay of my strength to reach new limits. I will create flexibility by stretching my limbs like the fluidity of water. And I will find stability of mind, living and physique because I move more for myself and the others I live for in this life.
It is hope that the dawn shall be unlike any other in this day. It is Life which lives the moment of it’s glory, and it is passion which is fed the beauty of morns rebirth.
